Writer Staton Rabin e-mailed me with a link to this review of her new young adult novel, The Curse of the Romanovs.
She also provided this quote about the book from Peter Kurth (author of Anastasia: The Riddle of Anna Anderson and other books), “Staton Rabin’s CURSE OF THE ROMANOVS is a beautifully written and brilliantly imagined retelling of a familiar tale. I know the story of the Romanovs backwards and forwards, and this book took me completely by surprise. Highly recommended.”
Sounds good! (By the way, Staton Rabin is also the author of Betsy and the Emperor, which is being made into a movie starring Al Pacino as Napoleon. The film adaptation was written by director/screenwriter Patrice Chereau.)
