Book fanned long love of Japan for noted scholar

The book mentioned in this article, The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu, tells the epic story of an emperor’s son in 11th century Japan. Historian Donald Keene’s books, including Emperor of Japan: Meiji and His World, 1852-19, are also available at Amazon.com.
