Today I have another image for you from Royal Weddings Through Time by Janette McCutcheon. It shows Britain’s Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth II, on the day of her marriage to photographer Antony Armstrong-Jones (later known as the Earl of Snowdon). The couple married in 1960 and divorced in 1978. Princess Margaret died in 2002.

All this week the World of Royalty Blog is featuring images from the new book Royal Weddings Through Time by Janette McCutcheon. Today’ s photo shows the wedding coach of King George V’s daughter, Princess Mary, who married Henry, Viscount Lascelles in 1922.

 

Mary’s husband became the 6th earl of Harewood in 1929, and Mary herself received the title Princess Royal in 1932. She died in 1965.
