By Royal Decree by Kate Emerson. Novel from the “Secrets of the Tudor Court” series. At the court of Henry VIII, a young woman named Bess hopes to persuade the king to let her marry a divorced man.
The Princess of Nowhere by Prince Lorenzo Borghese. Novel about Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister Pauline and her tempestuous marriage.
The Golden Prince by Rebecca Dean. Novel, set in 1911, in which the future King Edward VIII has a romance with a society girl.

If I could only read one of the books listed above, I think I would pick “A History of East Asia” because I’m sure I’d learn a lot from it. Which book would you choose?
